The “We Are All Israelis” movement in Morocco continues to push forward with fresh normalization efforts, the latest being the launch of a new radio station under the pretext of promoting “coexistence and dialogue.”

On February 24, 2025, Med Radio, owned by businessman Ahmed Charai, announced the launch of Radio Abraham, branding it as “a bridge between cultures and a link for fraternity and understanding.”

Med Radio has long been known for its pro-normalization stance, openly supporting ties between Morocco and "Israel." It has also aligned itself with the Israeli military, particularly during its brutal assault on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023.

Notably, Charai published an article titled “We Are All Israelis” in the Jerusalem Post on October 8, 2023, in which he defended "Israel," attacked the Palestinian resistance, and called on Arab and Western governments to take action against it.

Zionist Influence Expands

In a promotional post, the station declared, “In our modern world, where civilizations intersect, and ideas diverge, Radio Abraham emerges as a beacon of hope, forging its path with quiet confidence.”

It went on to describe itself as “not just another radio station, but a bold initiative aimed at fostering peace and dialogue, planting the seeds of understanding and prosperity in a world full of challenges.”

“At a time when there is an urgent need for platforms that encourage dialogue and build bridges, this project stands out as a pioneering initiative—particularly in the Middle East, a region that has long been a cradle of civilizations and a meeting point for religions,” the station further stated.

The announcement has sparked widespread discontent in Morocco, particularly among anti-normalization groups. A social media page named Guardians of Virtue condemned the launch of Radio Abraham, warning that the station is seeking to embed itself within Morocco’s media landscape.

In a Facebook post on February 25, 2025, the page stressed that this initiative represents an unacceptable push for normalization, rejected by a large segment of Moroccan society.

It emphasized that Moroccans have long been staunch supporters of the Palestinian cause and firmly opposed to any form of normalization with the Israeli occupation.

Critics argue that Radio Abraham represents a blatant attempt to sway Moroccan public opinion and exploit media platforms to promote the Zionist narrative.

They point to Ahmed Charai, a key figure behind the initiative, accusing him of advancing normalization agendas that serve "Israel’s" interests.

His media platforms, they claim, have long worked to portray "Israel" in a positive light and whitewash the occupation’s actions.

The station’s critics believe such media efforts are part of a gradual attempt to shift Moroccan attitudes towards the Palestinian cause, introducing narratives that clash with the country’s national and cultural identity.

This growing media influence, they argue, raises serious questions about the hidden agendas of institutions and individuals who claim to support peace while working to obscure facts and push narratives that contradict Moroccan societal values.

The timing of Radio Abraham’s launch, amid ongoing Israeli escalation against Palestinians, has further fueled suspicions.

Observers suggest it may be linked to broader efforts to normalize relations at the expense of Palestinian rights.

In response, voices opposing the initiative have grown louder, calling for Moroccan media to remain committed to national awareness and the defense of just causes, free from dubious foreign influence.

Destructive Agenda

Media activist and Justice and Development Party (PJD) national council member, Hassan Hammourou, has strongly condemned the promotion of what he described as the “Zionist Radio Abraham” by Moroccan media outlets, calling it proof of their blatant involvement in a destructive normalization agenda.

Speaking to Justice and Development on February 26, 2025, Hammourou stated, “If the state has its own strategic considerations in resuming diplomatic ties with ‘Israel,’ dictated by a specific international context, the Moroccan people—across all backgrounds and political leanings—have never supported normalization and never will.”

“No amount of deception or justification will change this reality—including the opportunistic use of slogans about Moroccan Jews or the invocation of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence. Moroccans have never needed to be reminded of these values; they have long embodied them in practice, guided by their Islamic faith and its principles,” he said.

Hammourou described Radio Abraham as a new Trojan horse, through which Zionist forces are attempting to infiltrate Muslim societies, including Morocco.

“After witnessing the sheer brutality of the Zionists in Gaza, it is inconceivable that anyone would believe their rhetoric about shared ancestry, dialogue, and tolerance,” he concluded.

Hassan Hammourou has urged Moroccans to push back against Radio Abraham, as well as the Moroccan media outlets promoting it, warning that they are—whether knowingly or unknowingly—injecting dangerous rhetoric into society.

"These toxic narratives," he argued, "will eventually grow into cancerous cells, threatening social cohesion and eroding our national immunity."

Hammourou also criticized the public funding received by these media platforms, noting that taxpayer money is being diverted from essential sectors such as healthcare, education, employment, and infrastructure—particularly in underserved regions.

Meanwhile, civil activist Hamza el-Khaldi described the launch of Radio Abraham as a deliberate provocation, accusing its backers of exploiting Morocco’s traditions of tolerance and openness to undermine the country and its society.

“They speak of coexistence and dialogue as if Moroccans were unfamiliar with these values. Yet history and the present alike prove that Moroccans—and Muslims in general—have long been a source of safety for Jewish communities, never posing a threat to them,” el-Khaldi stated in a video posted to YouTube on February 28, 2025.

He concluded with an appeal to all those who value national integrity, urging them to reject this initiative, regardless of who is behind it.

He described the project as “a catastrophe that will introduce destructive ideas into our society and our people.”

“We disown this station, which seeks to corrupt the hearts and minds of Moroccans while tarnishing the country’s reputation and principles,” el-Khaldi said.

He pointed out that the timing of its launch—following the devastation witnessed in Gaza at the hands of the Israeli military—raises serious concerns.

“If anything, recent events have made it clear who truly needs to learn the values of coexistence, peace, and justice.”

Expressing deep concern over the long-term consequences of normalization, el-Khaldi warned that it could have dire effects on Morocco’s vital sectors.

He insisted that “Morocco’s identity, civilization, and resources are not a playground for Zionists and their local collaborators.”

Reacting to the news, Mohamed Aouam, a scholar of Islamic objectives and jurisprudence, emphasized that Morocco has long upheld its foundational principles, which serve as the intellectual, social, and behavioral backbone of the nation.

"For years, the state has reiterated its commitment to these constants, investing substantial resources through the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs to reinforce and solidify them," Aouam wrote in an article published on Howiya press on February 26, 2025.

"Regardless of the effectiveness of these initiatives, and whether Moroccan media aligns with this approach or can even be seriously relied upon, the question remains: Is the country’s media truly safeguarding these principles?," he added.

Aouam warned that a new form of media is emerging, designed to promote what he described as the "New Abrahamic Project"—a rebranded colonial enterprise disguised as spiritual diplomacy.

"This is the role being played by Radio Abraham, founded by Ahmed Charai, a board member of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS), an organization led by Colonel Eran Lerman, a close advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu," he stated.

Mohamed Aouam warned that all of this is unfolding in Muslim Morocco, underscoring that the Zionist-driven agenda being promoted through figures like Ahmed Charai is pushing the “Abrahamic religion” to the forefront.

“We are on the brink of dangerous changes that threaten Morocco's core principles and may undo the country’s long standing values if responsible leaders do not act swiftly to address this issue,” he continued.

The scholar expressed alarm at what he sees as the growing reach of Zionist influence in Morocco, which he likened to the spread of an octopus or a snake, with agents, mercenaries, and traitors who are no longer hiding their connections to Israeli intelligence.

"They are no longer concealing their actions, as they have become protected, just like their counterparts during the French occupation," Aouam argued. "They openly flaunt their associations, posting disturbing images with their Israeli allies."

Aouam then questioned the role of the Higher Council of Ulema, Morocco’s supreme religious authority, and other local scientific councils in exposing the falsehoods of the new Abrahamic faith, which he believes contradicts Islam.

He called for a concerted effort to confront the media outlets and individuals working to serve the Zionist cause in Morocco.

Zionist Infiltration Unveiled

Ahmed Wihmane, the head of the Moroccan Observatory Against Normalization, has strongly criticized the launch of Radio Abraham by the group “We Are All Israelis”, calling it a deliberate and revealing step toward Zionist infiltration.

In an interview with Al-Estiklal, Wihmane said that “this time, it is a step beyond even the masks that the Abrahamic propaganda has attempted to wear over the past years.”

He pointed out that well-known Moroccan media figures, such as Radwan Ramdani, Younes Dafquir, and academic Omar Cherkaoui, have been actively supporting normalization and promoting the Zionist narrative within the country.

Wihmane argues that this initiative is no coincidence, but rather a carefully timed maneuver aimed at advancing the colonial project of the Abrahamic faith.

He asserts that the Abrahamic faith is, in reality, just a new label for  "Israel," with  "Israel" acting as the practical embodiment of this supposed religion.

"For years, we have been warning that the Abrahamic initiative is the new face of 21st-century colonialism, as highlighted by Egyptian scholar Dr. Heba Gamal El-Din in her landmark study on the subject," Wihmane explained.

"We have worked hard to unpack the concepts of the ‘Abrahamic Commonality,’ ‘United Arab States Program,’ ‘Abraham Path,’ and their connections to the ‘Deal of the Century’ devised by Israeli General Giora Eiland and imposed by the U.S. President Donald Trump."

Wihmane also recalled efforts to explain the role of the ‘Committee of 100,’ which includes 50 religious leaders from Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, as well as 50 U.S. diplomats working under the direction of the U.S. Secretary of State since the tenure of Hillary Clinton.

However, Wihmane argued that these explanations are now unnecessary. “The ‘We Are All Israelis’ group has revealed the full truth,” he said.

"The head of the group himself has openly acknowledged that the ‘We Are All Israelis’ slogan was created by the same person behind this initiative."

With a bit of simple analysis, Wihmane stated that the real leader of this initiative is Colonel Eran Lerman, a former officer in the Israeli military intelligence branch Aman, responsible for infiltrating Arab media and cultural systems—a role that aligns directly with the mission of Radio Abraham.

Wihmane stressed that Radio Abraham is not merely a media project but a purely Zionist propaganda platform, designed to brainwash audiences and prepare them for the acceptance of a new wave of Zionist colonization, disguised as peace and coexistence.

“This is an open declaration,” he declared, “the Abrahamic faith no longer needs intermediaries or deceptive slogans. We have entered the phase of open and brazen collaboration: "Israel," the architect of genocide, speaks directly to Arabs through its platforms and tools, without hesitation or subterfuge.”

The anti-normalization activist warned that Radio Abraham represents a significant step in the Zionist assault on Moroccan belief systems, and called for vigilance regarding its potentially devastating consequences for both the state and society at large.
