Finland's conservative leader Petteri Orpo said he plans to ally with the far-right anti-immigration Finns Party, following his win in the country's parliamentary election.

Finland became the latest country to join NATO, ending its long-standing policy of military non-alignment and bringing the alliance closer to Russia’s doorstep.

“Our view on Finland is positive, but not on Sweden,” the Turkish President said, signaling a willingness to support Finland’s NATO bid separately from Sweden’s.
